Applications are now open for Writers’ Room: Feature Film Lab, a new programme designed to support emerging filmmakers in developing their first or second feature film.
The initiative is implemented by the Filmik Institute in Prishtina, a beneficiary of the Grant for Grassroots Initiatives Grant Scheme, and offers selected participants a structured space to develop their stories, scripts and creative vision.
The programme combines online and in-person activities, including writers’ room sessions, individual mentorship, a public masterclass and professional networking opportunities.
Selected filmmakers will also participate in a residential workshop in Prishtina, organised during the Prishtina International Film Festival, PriFest. Throughout the programme, participants will work closely with acclaimed regional and international mentors, receiving targeted guidance on the creative and narrative development of their projects.
Only nine filmmakers will be selected to participate. The programme is fully funded, enabling participants to benefit from mentorship, collaboration and professional exchange without participation costs.
