Women as Catalyst for Democratic Change

The third day of the Unstoppable International Conference, taking place in Tirana, Plaza Hotel, started with the Women as Catalyst for Democratic Change Panel.

For over two hours, the panel, moderated by Sanja Lazic, brought multiple important arguments from the many perspectives of the participants on the stage.

Present in the panel were two Ambassadors, H.E. Christiane Hohmann and H.E. Ruth Huber, respectively, Ambassador of EU Delegation and Switzerland to Tirana.

Three well-known activists from Poland, the Czech Republic and Serbia, Magdalena Jakubowska, Veronika Skouba and Aida Corovic, brought the panel their unique experiences.

Petrit Selimi, former deputy MFA of Kosovo* and Valdete Idrizi, director of Sports, Youth and Culture at the Mitrovica Municipality, completed the panel.

The Western Balkans Fund organises the Unstoppable Conference with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the International Visegrad Fund and Forum 2000.
