WBF receives high award from Japan

Yesterday, at a special reception in Tirana, the Western Balkans Fund proudly received a Certificate of Commemoration celebrating and recognizing the achievements of our long-standing cooperation.

The certificate was presented by H.E. Kikuko Kato, Ambassador of Japan to Albania.

Regional Youth Cooperation Office – RYCO also received the same recognition.

Over over six years, our partnership with Japan has helped bring to the forefront key topics for the Western Balkans: fake news and media literacy, youth leadership, equality, empowerment and stronger cooperation at the local level.

Building on this very successful track record, we are now preparing a new high-level milestone: the #LeadBalkans Conference in February, which will bring to the spotlight our diaspora communities.
