WBF-Norway collaboration: Delegation visits the Secretariat

A Norwegian Delegation, headed by H.E. Hilde Berit Eide, Deputy Head of Mission at the Norwegian Embassy in Prishtina visited today the Western Balkans Fund Secretariat.

For over 1 hour, the WBF Executive Director, Dr. Murra, together with Ms Beqiri, Ms Vukmirovic and Mr Citakovic gave a briefing about our Fund activities and mission.

Both parties decided to explore further steps on how to strengthen the current cooperation.

The cooperation between WBF and Norway dates since first weeks of our establishment. On 27 October 2017, WBF had a first meeting with the Ambassador, H.E. Per Strand Sjaastad.

On 1^st of March 2018, WBF ED had another meeting with H.E. Mr. Per Strand Sjaastad, Ambassador of Norway, in which they exchanged ideas on how to concretize collaboration in future projects.

On March 5^th 2019, we received at our Secretariat a delegation from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs headed by Deputy Director Mrs. Annette Bull and H.E Ambassador Mr. Per Strand Stjasastad.

Both parties discussed the possible ways of deepening the cooperation between the Fund and Norwegian government in areas of mutual interest, as Norway remains high in the agenda of cooperation for WB region.
