The WBF Matching Grants is your answer!
On 1 September, the Western Balkans Fund officially launched this new support scheme, tailor-made for organisations that have already secured part of the funding and are in an advanced stage of planning or organising an important event.
We are pleased to see that several applications have already been submitted and dozens of questions received.
Remember: the WBF Matching Scheme is a rolling mechanism that will remain open year-round, accepting applications whenever you need support.
KEY FEATURES
Grant size: Up to €10,000, covering a maximum of 50% of total eligible costs.
Co-funding required: The remaining 50% must come from other donors.
Duration: Projects must last between 2 and 4 months.
Location: Activities must take place within the WB6 region.
Partnerships: At least two partners from two different WBF Contracting Parties.
We believe this mechanism will continue to empower civil society organisations, amplify their voices, and ensure that champions of cooperation across the region can count on WBF as a trusted ally in the moments when they need assistance the most.
