WBF is much more than a grant-giving organization.
We are here to nurture, in every possible way, the bond between our stakeholders, including by gathering at one place key regional and European actors to promote and cherish further regional cooperation.
From 1-3 March, in Tirana, more than 100 renowned experts, community leaders, politicians, influential CSOs and journalists will participate in one of the largest regional conferences ever held.
Our goal is to promote freedom of expression as a fundamental right and introduce a legal mechanism on hate speech and defamation in both Western Balkans and Visegrad regions.
The FIRE Conference is organized with the generous funding of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Visegrad Fund.
