On the sidelines of the SYNERGY Conference, the Western Balkans Fund Secretariat had the distinguished honor of meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, H.E. Jan Lipavský, and the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, H.E. Igli Hasani.
During this brief but meaningful exchange, both Ministers emphasized the importance of regional cooperation and expressed their appreciation for models such as the Western Balkans Fund and the Visegrad Fund, recognizing their crucial role in fostering collaboration and advancing the European integration process.
The discussion underscored the significance of cross-regional partnerships in promoting stability, economic growth, and institutional development. On behalf of the Fund, Executive Director Dr. Murra had the pleasure of presenting H.E. Lipavský with a token of appreciation, symbolizing the strong ties between the two regions.
Looking ahead, the Western Balkans Fund remains deeply committed to deepening its cooperation with all partners, including the International Visegrad Fund and the governments of the V4 Region, to further enhance and solidify the bonds between Central Europe and the Western Balkans.
