WBF at the Budapest Balkans Forum: Connectivity are not only roads, but also the will to walk on those roads

Connectivity is not only built through highways, railways, or energy grids. It is first and foremost built on people-to-people links and in that regard, organisations like ours have a crucial role to play.

▶ This was the core message of Executive Director Dr. Murra’s intervention at the panel “Rethinking Interregionalism: Visegrad countries and the Western Balkans”, held as part of the Budapest Balkans Forum.

🇪🇪🇺 In his intervention, Dr. Murra also underlined that interregionalism, with all its benefits, cannot be a substitute for European integration, but rather an added layer that helps advance our region.

🤝 He also referred to the V4 countries, their past experiences, and crucially, their shared responsibility toward a stronger and more connected Western Balkans.
