Connectivity is not only built through highways, railways, or energy grids. It is first and foremost built on people-to-people links and in that regard, organisations like ours have a crucial role to play.
This was the core message of Executive Director Dr. Murra’s intervention at the panel “Rethinking Interregionalism: Visegrad countries and the Western Balkans”, held as part of the Budapest Balkans Forum.

In his intervention, Dr. Murra also underlined that interregionalism, with all its benefits, cannot be a substitute for European integration, but rather an added layer that helps advance our region.
He also referred to the V4 countries, their past experiences, and crucially, their shared responsibility toward a stronger and more connected Western Balkans.
