Visibility and Advocacy for Regional Cooperation

The unique nature of the Fund as an intergovernmental organisation features prominently in the Fund’s promotional strategy. The Fund through promotional activities succeeded to further position in the region as a credible and forthcoming supporter of diverse civil society groups in the region. By advocating the need for more regional cooperation, the Western Balkans Fund is shaping the future on many different levels.

Through the data collected within the framework of the 4th Call for Proposals, WBF has learned that 2/3 of the applicants and almost 90% of its beneficiaries are grassroots organisations.
Newly established organisations are a unique source of wealth that WBF continue to tap-in in the future
