Earlier in November, in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan to Albania and the International Visegrad Fund, we hosted the VerityCon23 International Conference, one of the largest regional events of 2023 dedicated to the freedom of expression.
For over three days, more than 60 leading experts, journalists, civil society representatives, and policymakers from the Western Balkans Area, V4 countries, Japan, the United States, and European Union member countries brainstormed in six panels and buzz sessions.
We took the time to elaborate on all the brilliant ideas and proposals from the Conference. Now, we are pleased to share all the conclusions and recommendations we are putting forward to Governments or Institutions of the Western Balkans Contracting Parties, Civil Society Organisations, Media, and ourselves.
