Theater for All!
As the name of the project says, we believe that the right to enjoy the arts belongs to everyone, including people with disabilities.
That’s why we are proud to support the National Theater of Republika Srpska, which has turned Banja Luka into a source of inspiration and inclusion.
In partnership with the Association of Blind and Deaf People in Podgorica, the Montenegrin National Theater, the National Theater of Serbia, and other leading cultural institutions, a forum was organized to highlight the importance of equal access to culture.
The discussions focused directly on the needs of people with disabilities and the concrete steps we can take to promote accessibility and inclusivity in the arts.
As part of the campaign, the play Steel Magnolias was staged in an adapted format, complete with audio description and subtitles, making it fully accessible to audiences with visual and hearing impairments.
This project is co-funded by the European Union, IPA III – Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance.
