Thanks to the dozens of beneficiaries of our grants, many important projects and our loyal followers, 2022 have been an astonishing year in terms of Western Balkans Fund image and visibility.
For our part, we have tried to be as open and transparent as possible, sharing constant information on our website and social media.
Regarding social media, our two main communication channels are Facebook and Instagram, but we also use LinkedIn and Twitter for official communication and Youtube when publishing video content.
On Facebook, from 1 January to 27 December 2022, we have shared 278 posts, with a reach of 666.743, meaning almost 700K unique users have received at least once information about our activity.
Compared to last year, WBF achieved 192% growth on Facebook.
Regarding Instagram, the 2022 reach is 81.772. Compared to the same timeframe in 2021, the growth is an astonishing 913%.
Important increases are reported on Twiter, LinkedIn and Youtube.
In 2022, Google Analytics data show that 29k users have browsed our website for news, events, funding opportunities, or others.
This is again a record number, but thanks to the general overhaul of the webpage in December, we are confident 2023 will be an even better year.
The new webpage, in addition to what we used to provide earlier, now also offers:
- A subscribe button to follow us more closely
- Dedicated galleries
- Success stories
- News divided by Contracting Parties
- A section dedicated to funding opportunities and upcoming events
