Valbona Dedja is from Tirana, Albania with around ten years of experience in grants/project management.

Prior of joining Western Balkans Fund in 2016, she provided her contribution as a Grants Manager to the Open Society Foundation in Albania for six years. During the period 2008 – 2010, she engaged with several Civil Society Organizations such as Transparency International Albania, Citizen Advocacy Office, and Institute of Dialog and Communication.

Valbona studied Political Science (2004-2008) and Law (2005-2009) at the University of Tirana.

She specialized in International Relations, International and European Law, through a MSc’s degree programme at the European University of Tirana in 2012.

She is fluent in English, Italian and French.
