On July 7 2016, the 2’nd meeting of Western Balkans Fund Committee of Coordinators took place at the Funds offices, in Tirana.
Mrs. Odeta Barbullushi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania made the opening remarks and welcomed the participants. The Ambassadors of V4 countries and representatives from the International Visegrad Fund also attended the meeting.
The meeting analyzed the progress achieved in the establishment of the Secretariat of the Fund and its legal basis and adopted a number of short term decisions including the provisional budget.
Moreover, the participants appreciated the work carried out for the establishment of the Secretariat and the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Albania in advancing this important politico-diplomatic initiative that aims to strengthen cooperation by supporting joint projects in Contracting Parties
