Earlier in August, 150 children from across the Region gathered in Lovćen to take part in a five-day Science Summer School, organized by the Foundation for Science Promotion – Prona, with the support of the WBF-EU Joint Action.
At the opening of the event, the participants were welcomed by the President of Montenegro, H.E. Jakov Milatović.
Throughout the School, the students attended 24 lectures and 6 laboratory workshops covering Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Medicine, Astronomy, Computer Science, and Electronics.
But most importantly, they had the chance to form new friendships and to discover the common values and shared aspirations that unite young people across our Region.
The projects of the 7th Call for Proposals of the Western Balkans Fund are co-funded by the European Union, IPA – Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance.
