Podgorica takes over the WBF Chairmanship-in-Office for 2026

As of 17 December 2025, the Western Balkans Fund Chairmanship-in-Office has formally passed to Podgorica, in line with the Fund’s Statute.

2026 now opens with a clear focus: stronger outreach, sharper strategic development and more initiatives that translate regional cooperation into real partnerships and measurable results.

We look forward to working with the Podgorica Chairmanship and all Contracting Parties to expand people-to-people links, scale successful grant schemes and deliver a new year of cooperation that citizens across the Western Balkans can actually feel.
