In the framework of sharing and exchanging information about WBF, its progress and the challenges ahead, Western Balkans Fund’s Executive Director Mr. Gjergj Murra had a meeting with the prominent Austrian politician, Mr. Erhard Busek on 13 April, in Vienna.
During the Meeting, Mr. Busek was informed about the objectives, working methods and the overall role of Western Balkans Fund as an all-inclusive and regionally owned initiative created on a very important momentum for the WB region.
Mr. Busek, one of the strongest supporters and promoters of regional cooperation in Southeastern Europe and Western Balkans, expressed his commitment and engagement in actively following the activities of the Fund.
As the former Special Coordinator of the Stability Pact for SEE, Mr. Busek underlined the all-inclusive and regionally owned character of WBF, expressing also his appreciation regarding WBF being a tangible expression of headway of the regional cooperation in the Western Balkans.
