Following the publication of the winners of the Grassroots Initiatives Grant Scheme and the announcement of the new Western Balkans–Visegrad Fellowship recipients in June, the Western Balkans Fund is preparing several further opportunities for organisations and individuals across the region.
The next major announcement will concern the Fund’s new flagship Gender Equality Fund. The evaluation process is currently in its final stages, and the selected projects are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The Gender Equality Fund was established to support regional initiatives that respond to persistent inequalities, strengthen cooperation among civil society organisations and institutions, and contribute to concrete and sustainable progress across the Western Balkans.
Further funding opportunities will follow in autumn. The Western Balkans Fund is preparing a new Call under the ERC Grant Scheme, aimed at supporting organisations and strengthening regional cooperation, exchange and dialogue.
A new Call for the WBF MOVE Grants will also be launched, providing individuals with opportunities for regional mobility, professional development, knowledge exchange and cooperation with partners across the Western Balkans.
Additional information on eligibility requirements, funding conditions, application procedures and deadlines will be published through the Western Balkans Fund’s official communication channels.
These forthcoming Calls reaffirm the Fund’s commitment to creating accessible and diverse opportunities for civil society organisations, professionals and individuals who are working to build stronger regional connections.
