May 2026 was one of the busiest months in the history of the Western Balkans Fund, marked by the inauguration of the second phase of cooperation with the Swiss Government, the launch of the pilot Gender Equality Fund for the Western Balkans, the continuation of the third WBF–Visegrad Fellowship Call, and the evaluation of the GGI Grants.
