Today, the Western Balkans Fund had the distinct honor of welcoming the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Mr. Hasani, to the Secretariat.
During the meeting, the WBF team provided an overview of the latest developments and outlined the next steps aimed at further strengthening our regional impact.
In his remarks, Executive Director Murra expressed gratitude for the Minister’s continuous support and encouragement, highlighting Albania’s invaluable role as the host country of the Fund.
H.E. Mr. Hasani commended the Fund’s achievements and fully endorsed its mission, recognizing the increasing cooperation among Contracting Parties.
He also stressed the importance of enhancing support for civil society organizations through regional grant opportunities, reinforcing WBF’s vital role in fostering collaboration and development across the region.
Honoring his personal and institutional contributions, WBF presented H.E. Hasani with a token of recognition.
