A joint meeting of experts from the International Visegrad Fund (IVF) and Western Balkans Fund (WBF) was organized in Bratislava on October14, 2016. The meeting was attended by representatives of V4 and WB6 contracting parties.
During the meeting, the V4 experts reiterated their continued interest and support for the Western Balkans Fund and reaffirmed the commitment to continue providing the technical assistance for the start of operation of the WBF translated in concrete means of support.
The meeting was divided into two sections. The first section consisted in joint discussions regarding cooperation between WB6 and V4 Countries and the cooperation between the two Funds (IVF and WBF). The second sessions consisted in separate meetings of the IVF and WBF experts regarding relevant issues of the overall work.
The meeting was a unique opportunity to present the progress reached so far and for intensifying steps to ensure political support in materializing WBF main objectives.
