Two years after representatives of the Kosova Makers League benefited from a regional WBF Move Grant, the organisation is taking the next step in strengthening its connections across the Western Balkans.
Building on the experience and partnerships developed through the mobility programme, Kosova Makers League successfully secured support under the Grant for Grassroots Initiatives (GGI) for its new project, “Youth Makers Exchange: Advancing STEAM Skills and Regional Cooperation.”
The initiative will bring together at least 24 young people through practical training sessions, workshops and interactive activities. Participants will strengthen their knowledge and skills in robotics, artificial intelligence and electronics while connecting with peers from across the region.
By combining STEAM education with cross-border exchange, the project will create new opportunities for cooperation among young people and encourage the development of lasting regional networks. It also demonstrates how an initial mobility experience supported by WBF can evolve into a broader regional initiative with greater reach and impact.
The project is supported through the GGI Grant Scheme, co-funded by the European Union through IPA III—the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance—under the Civil Society and Media Programme for the Western Balkans and Türkiye.
