Four new grantees awarded in Sarajevo

Yesterday’s meeting in Sarajevo was not just about the past and the celebration of our achievements, but also about the future.

It is a future that starts with the four new projects awarded, part of WBF Sixth Call for Proposals.

We were thrilled to welcome to our expanding portfolio Ms. Maja Abadžija, receiving the Grant Award certificate on behalf of center for story telling “Naratorium” that will be implementing feminist literary contest Štefica Cvek.

Mr. Nikola Krstičević, receiving the grant award certificate on behalf of the Association for Development, Ecology and Culture EKO from Široki Brijeg that will be implementing a project bringing artists across the region to Nature Park of Blidinje.

Mr. Nermin Oruč, coming from Sarajevo, CREDI Foundation, will be implementing the project on informal employment on online platforms in Western Balkans.

From Banja Luka, Mr Nemanja Knezević comes from “Veselin Masleša”, an ensemble of folk dances and songs. Veselin Masleša will implement a project on Zmijanski vez, UNESCO protected cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina; “Honoring tradition, enriching the past”.
