Blidinje Natural Park is famous for its legends and myths, antic necropolis, magnificent beauty and its healing properties.
It is also the inspiration for the Eco-Friendly Colony, a unique initiative aimed at fostering interethnic cooperation and reconciliation through art, ecology, and cultural heritage in the Western Balkans.
This project brings together young artists and participants from ethnically and geographically diverse communities to promote peace, ecology, art, and history.
In a week-long camp in Blidinje, the participants collaborate to produce artworks that reflect the role of natural and cultural heritage in fostering sustainable reconciliation.
These pieces will be donated to associations supporting children with health issues, adding a deeper social impact to the project.
Besides art, there will be four different workshops on cooperation, ecology, cultural promotion, women empowerment and EU Integration.
We want to congratulate the partners of this project, part of the projects of WBF’s 6th Call for Proposals:
