Yesterday, the first Online Info Session dedicated to the Western Balkans Gender Equality Fund took place, bringing together more than 80 participants from across the region.
For over one hour and thirty minutes, a dedicated team from the Western Balkans Fund Secretariat met virtually with interested applicants, presenting the main features of the first Call for Proposals and offering practical guidance for the application process.
Among the key issues explained were the eligibility rules, partnership requirements, priority intervention areas, funding conditions and the main steps applicants should follow when preparing their proposals.
Participants also had the opportunity to raise questions and receive live answers directly from the Secretariat team.
The session concluded with a partner matchmaking component, during which interested organisations introduced themselves, shared their areas of work, and explored opportunities to build regional consortia.
Two additional online Info Sessions will take place on 20 and 26 May 2026, both starting at 11:00 CET.
Interested applicants are invited to register and benefit from direct guidance on the application process, as well as from further opportunities to connect with potential partners across the Western Balkans.
