Pristina, 22 July 2016 –Executive Director of the Visegrad Fund, Ms. Beata Jazcewska and Executive Director of the Western Balkans Fund, Mr. Gjergj Murra met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Valon Murtezaj. The efforts being done in functionalizing the Western Balkans Fund, and the assistance provided by the Visegrad Fund were discussed during the meeting.
Deputy Minister Murtezaj highly appreciated the assistance and experience provided by the Visegrad Fund in the establishment of the Western Balkans Fund, and reiterated the importance that this fund will have, through different projects, in promoting regional cooperation, particularly in the field of youth and culture.
Also, Deputy Minister Murtezaj and MFA’s representatives highly appreciated the contribution of the Republic of Albania, being the depositary country for the establishment of the functional infrastructure of the Western Balkan Fund.
