Prokletije are a source of legends, myths, beaty and pride.
Yet we believe there is much more to learn from the experience of each other and a lot more to do in regard to protection of biodiversity and nature.
“Prokletije, a cross-border science classroom” is a project that tackles the lack of cooperation and opportunities between students in regard to environmental issues in the Western Balkans Region.
The goal of the ongoing project is to strengthen good neighbourly relations in the wider area of Prokletije through strengthening cooperation, student exchange, education and future research in the field of nature protection.
Part of the 5th Call for Proposals, co-funded by the European Union through IPA – Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, the project is currently being implemented by Green Home, a Civil Society Organisation based in Montenegro, with Environmentally Responsible Action (ERA) from Prishtina and Institute for Nature Conservation in Albania (INCA).
