Emerging filmmakers from across the Western Balkans are invited to apply for DocuConnect Balkans, a new five-day programme designed to support the development of creative documentary projects.
The programme will bring together six director-producer teams and ten regional and European film experts for an intensive process of project development, professional exchange and networking.
Through individual consultations and collaborative sessions, selected participants will work with experienced film professionals to strengthen the creative, production and strategic aspects of their documentary projects. The programme will also provide space for participants to exchange experiences, receive targeted feedback and establish professional connections with peers and experts from across the region and Europe.
DocuConnect Balkans is open to both short and feature-length documentary projects, regardless of their current stage of development. Projects may be in development, production or rough-cut phase.
Each application must be submitted by a team consisting of one director and one producer. Participation in the programme is free of charge.
