Day 2 of VerityCon23 | What to expect


Day two of the VerityCon23 International Conference starts today at 10.00.

It will be a very important day, starting with the second panel focused on “Navigating the Disinformation Landscape in the Western Balkans. Moderated by Mila Carovska, the panel will be composed by:

Flutura Kusari | Legal Expert on Freedom of Expression

Emir Zulejhic | Zasto Ne

Rrapo Zguri | Professor at the University of Tirana, Department of Journalism

The day’s second panel will focus on “Striking the balance between policy and self-regulation to counter disinformation in the Western Balkans”.

Davor Marko from the Thomson Foundation moderates this panel. The panel is composed of:

After the first two panels, two more parallel sessions follow.

Buzz Session A, starting at 15.00, focuses on “Tools to identify and combat disinformation in the Western Balkans”.

It will be moderated by our expert, Blerjana Bino of SciDEV and unite over a round table in an open conversation:
