Yesterday, the Executive Director, Dr. Murra, participated in the WBF-funded conference “Mediawise – Digital Media Education as an Important Indicator of Students’ Health and Well-Being.
Organized by the Education Empowerment Initiative (EEI), the regional conference in Prishtina highlighted the profound impact of media on shaping our worldviews while emphasizing the critical role of media literacy in education.
Digital media education is also crucial for students’ health and well-being.
We believe that by teaching responsible interaction with digital media, we can mitigate risks like cyberbullying and mental health issues. Media literacy fosters resilience, empathy, and a sense of community, all vital for a balanced lifestyle.
This is only one of dozens from the 250 WBF-funded projects focusing on the well-being and empowerment of children and youth.
We look forward to making a difference for the Western Balkans region, continuing our commitment to fostering a healthier, more informed, and united community.
