In Skopje, a groundbreaking initiative aiming to improve waste management in the Region is underway.
From December 3–4, partners of an ERC Grant participated in field trips to relevant recycling facilities, gaining first-hand experience from successful examples of eco-packaging, oil-waste treatment, end-of-life vehicle processing, and textile waste management.
Through this project, the participants are establishing a regional platform to facilitate the exchange of information and sharing of relevant examples about waste, environment and green economy.
Led by the NGO Planktonium, this project is co-funded by the European Union under IPA – Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance III.
