Boosting youth participation at Integration Processes

Youth at the Heart of EU Integration

Last month at EU House in Skopje, a WBF–EU Joint Action funded project put youth participation in the integration process at the center stage.

Among other, participants shared findings of their months deep research on causes that currently limit the youth participation and debated on how to overcome this challenges.

Speaking at the conference, Steffen Hudolin, Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation in Skopje, commended the initiative and underlined the need for more youth-driven efforts that influence policy across the Western Balkans.

Key outcome of this project is a strengthened regional perspective on shared opportunities and shared challenges within the EU integration process.

The project is implemented by BIRC Institute (Tetovo), in partnership with NVO Glas (Podgorica) and CFID (Prishtina).

Co-funded by the European Union under IPA III – Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance.
