We are pleased to announce that applications for the 24th Visegrad Summer School are now open.
The Visegrad Summer School, held at Villa Decius in Krakow, is a prestigious 10-day interdisciplinary program bringing together young professionals, researchers and practitioners from the Visegrad Group, Central and Eastern Europe, the Western Balkans and beyond. The 24th edition will take place from July 5 to July 15, 2026.
This year’s theme, Future of Information, will address key challenges related to democratic resilience, disinformation, artificial intelligence and the growing influence of digital platforms on public debate and governance. The program creates a space for critical reflection on how information ecosystems shape contemporary societies and political processes within the European Union and its neighborhood.
Program highlights include:
- Expert-led lectures and discussions on media systems, democracy, technology governance and international cooperation
- Foresight-driven workshops based on the Future Literacy methodology, fostering innovative and interdisciplinary thinking
