The Western Balkans Fund and the International Visegrad Fund are happy to announce the first 41 winners of the joint Western Balkans-Visegrad Fellowship for researchers, lecturers, and scholars from V4 and WB.
The winners were selected from among 154 applicants after a careful evaluation process by both Secretariats of our Funds. The applications were open simultaneously by our organisations from 15 April to 15 June 2024.
Based on WBF-IVF agreement signed in Bratislava on March 6, 2024, applicants from the Western Balkans Region will be entitled to a fully-funded 2-10 week fellowship at the universities of their choice in the V4 Region.
The same applies to applicants from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia, who have been offered the same opportunity to pursue a 2-10 week fellowship at universities in the Western Balkans Region.
Announcing the final results, we are pleased to witness the significant interest generated by this pilot program and, based on its success, look forward to expanding it further in the future.
