Ksenija Vukmirovic comes from Cetinje, Montenegro, with eight years of experience in Project Management.
She graduated from the University of Montenegro at the Faculty of Political Science in Podgorica.
During her studies, she worked for American Councils for International Education and Montenegrin American Youth Alumni Association, where she gained more than five years of experience in project management, financial reporting, fundraising and social media outreach. Apart from civil sector, Ksenija has worked for the Ministry of Interior at the Directorate for International Cooperation and European Integration, where she followed closely the process of negotiations for EU accession. As an Event and Program Coordinator at American Corner in Podgorica, she had an opportunity to work on creating various educational programs for youth.
She is an Alumna of American Serbia and Montenegro Youth Leadership Exchange Program, which enabled her to spend a high school year in Charlotte, North Carolina, and later become a mentor at Civic Education Week in Washington DC and to lobby on Capitol Hill for the increase in funding for exchange programs. In summer of 2018, she was awarded with a scholarship for Global Village for Future Leaders at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. Ksenija’s biggest passions are traveling, exploring new cultures and learning new languages. She is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish, she as well speaks French, Brazilian Portuguese, German and hopes soon to learn Albanian.
