WBF Project Coordinator
Denis Grbo is a young professional coming from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mr. Grbo holds a BA degree on Law from University of Sarajevo. During his studies at the Law Faculty he was also part of European Law Students Association, where he not only gained knowledge about international relations and cooperation but also practiced it with other students. Mr. Grbo is a very ambitious young professional, while he was studying he managed to participate in international trainings and competitions. Prior joining Western Balkans Fund Mr. Grbo was professionally engaged with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sarajevo in the sector for Bilateral Relations, where he contributed in monitoring daily activities, collecting important information related to bilateral relations especially in the economic sector. Due to his meticulous speaking skills in Bosnian and English, Mr. Grbo had the opportunity to lead cooperation and communication between the MFA and foreign embassies and missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mr. Grbo also worked as a Marketing and Event Manager for a private company in Sarajevo, as a young professional he not only provided his organizational skills but also learned the from close the work in large groups, and increased his working capacities under pressure. His motivation to join WBF was to get to know the region better, Denis loves education, culture and sports but the most he likes meeting new people and by being part of a diverse team at WBF he is convinced that he will be enriched with new perspectives.
